AI Summaries
We are introducing a powerful new AI capability called Summaries. This feature allows you to create custom prompts that can be used over multiple cards or initiatives. With Summaries, you can generate release notes, analyze the tone of communication, check customer satisfaction, and create weekly or monthly status reports with ease. The possibilities are endless, and you can configure your prompts to pass parameters from the cards to the AI, instructing it on how to use them.

Convert Whiteboard objects to workflow cards
One of the most exciting features in this release is the ability to convert Whiteboard cards and sticky notes to Cards or Initiatives on any workflow. This new functionality allows you to seamlessly transfer information from your brainstorming sessions to your work processes in just seconds. This integration is a giant step towards blending the worlds of Whiteboards and Workflows, making it easier for you to manage your projects and tasks efficiently.
To use this feature, simply select the card or note you want to convert, and choose the 'Convert to Businessmap cards' option from the context menu. A minimap will appear, allowing you to select the destination for your converted cards. This feature ensures that all changes made to the connected cards in Businessmap are reflected in Whiteboards, providing a cohesive and synchronized experience.
Many, great Whiteboard enhancements
Responding to user feedback, we have added the ability to:
- Quickly create & connect entities (stickies, cards, etc.)
- Copy / Paste objects
- Zoom in/out on mouse scroll
- Edge scrolling while dragging an object
- Connection to a specific side of an object
- Ctrl + Move to prevent auto-connection over an entity
- Curved or straight arrows
- Multi select with the Ctrl button on the keyboard and not only Shift

Customize board filter
We heard your feedback and have enhanced the Board Filter to allow you to pin the criteria you use most frequently. You can now configure the filter panel to show or hide specific criteria, making it easier to access the filters you need. This customization is user-specific but global for the account, ensuring a tailored experience for each user.
Other Improvements
Option to appoint a user as a main Point of Contact (POC)
Managing board access requests just got easier with the new 'Defined Board Owner(s)' feature. Now, you can designate specific users as Points of Contact (POC) for boards, ensuring that only the relevant individuals receive access requests. This feature helps reduce distractions and increases productivity by allowing you to control which boards you receive requests for.
Only Workspace Managers (WM) or Owners can set a user as a POC, and the designated user must be added to the board. If a user is demoted or removed from their role, they will lose their POC status. This feature is a great way to streamline your board management and ensure that access requests are handled efficiently.
Improved saved searches and public filters
We've unified the user interface of Saved Searches with Saved Reports, bringing a more consistent and secure experience across the platform. You can now set passwords for shared public searches, ensuring that your data remains protected. This enhancement simplifies the process of managing and sharing your search filters, making it easier to collaborate and maintain security.
Easier creation of new outcomes
Creating new Outcomes is now more intuitive with the improved Outcome creation panel. We have split the dropdown list into two separate dropdowns, making it easier to choose between automatic Outcome Rules and manual Custom Fields.
And finally, some minor improvements
- You can now delete Whiteboard objects using the Backspace key, making it easier, especially on Mac keyboards.
- You can now send announcements to entire teams, making communication more efficient.
- We've added an "Open in new tab" option for a full-screen view of embedded Power BI reports.
- New properties like Type, Tags, and Stickers have been added to the Throughput widget for better data analysis.
- The Personal Setting for the Default Owner field now takes precedence over the default template.
- As announced with the previous release, you can now set a size value of "0" for items, and empty values will appear as blank instead of 0 in reports and widgets.
