Audit Logs in Businessmap
The Audit logs provide one of the most effective ways of tracking system information in the account. It enhances security and transparency, offering valuable insight into your environment.
To access the Audit Logs panel, you need to either be an Account Owner or have the Access Audit Logs privilege. Open the Administration panel at the top right side of your board, and click the Security & Audit tab to open the dedicated panel.
Click View Logs at the bottom of the panel to review entry logs for all key areas in your Account.
The Audit Logs track all system and user-invoked events and modifications in chronological order and display the reasons for unsuccessful events. This helps Account Owners monitor system performance and keep track of potential workflow disruptions.
The Audit Logs panel stores and displays the following information based on user or system actions:
User Management (events per user)
Business rules (events per Business Rules)
Email Integration
Webhooks
API 1
API 2
User Last Activity
Boards
Workspaces
Outcome rules (events per rule)
Worklog categories
Custom field categories
Card templates
Roles
AI Usage
Docs
Note: There is a total limit of 10000 results that can be returned. The results are displayed by 200 per page within each of the Audit Log categories. For analyzing the full log, use the “Export” button to download all the information for the selected time frame.
1. User Management
The User management log traces user activities in the system. It captures and presents the following information: event type, author, author email, affected user, affected ser email, details, time.
The logged events related to User Management are as follows:

2. Business Rules
The Business Rules log reflects the latest successful execution of the Active Business rules, as well as cards affected by those rules. It captures and displays the following information: business rule name, business rule ID, executed on card ID, executed at.
3. Email Integration
The email integration log reflects the status of each message that the email integration processes. It captures and displays the following information: sender, receivers, subject, details, received at.
You can easily verify if the email is successfully processed or what is the reason for the failure.
4. Webhooks
The Webhook log reflects all modifications made to webhook connections across all of the boards in the account. It captures and displays the following information: event type, username, details, time.
The logged events related to Webhooks are as follows:

5. API v1
The API (version 1) log reflects all calls to the API and the user that sent the request. It captures and displays the following information: resource, username, time.
6. API v2
The API (version 2) log reflects all calls to the API and the user that sent the request. It captures and displays the following information: status code, method, resource, username, time.
7. User Last Activity
The User Last Activity log reflects the latest activity of all registered Businessmap users. The log is updated every 5 minutes.
It captures and displays the following information: username, real name, email address, last activity (timestamp), settings*.
* You can delete or disable users both from User Administration and the "User Last Activity" log. If the Last Activity timespan shows that some users haven't performed any activities or haven't been active for a long period of time, you can easily delete or disable them from here. Use the settings icon that belongs to every user name and perform the respective action. When you delete/disable a user, they will be highlighted in red.
Note: All types of audit logs are now available for export in Excel sheet format. Just click the export button at the bottom of every panel. Each exported table matches the original one as displayed in the respective Audit log. You can use the filters to refine the time span of exported audit log events.
8. Boards
The Boards log reflects changes made to Boards in the account. It captures and presents the following information: event type, board name, author, details, time. The dropdown menu allows changing the selected Board or displaying information about all available Boards within the account.
9. Workspaces
The Workspaces log shows all changes made to the workspaces in the account, from their creation to archiving. Results show the event type, workspace name, author, details, time.
10. Outcome rules
The Outcome rules log provides information about the latest execution of outcome rules and whether they were successful. Data is displayed by rule name, rule ID, card ID, started at, finished at, request status, exceeded the result limit, processing result, requested by user.
11. Worklog categories
This log shows the history of every worklog category, from its creation to its deletion. This includes any category modifications, as well as adding and removing categories to/from boards. Data is displayed by event type, username, details, time.
12. Custom field categories
This log shows the history of every custom field category, from its creation to its deletion. This includes any category modifications. Data is displayed by event type, username, details, time.
13. Card templates
In this tab, you can see the complete history of card templates used in the account. This includes creating, deleting, and updating templates, as well as adding or removing them from boards.
14. Roles
The Roles log reflects changes made to all board roles in the account. It captures and presents the following information: event type, user name, details, time. This includes creating, deleting, and updating roles, as well as adding or removing role permissions.
15. AI Usage
The AI Usage log provides a clear and reliable record of when users interact with AI tools in your account. It helps you understand how AI features are being used and track usage over time.
For every AI interaction, the log captures key details so you can easily review and analyze usage patterns:
- Timestamp: The exact date and time when the AI tool was used.
- Username: The name of the person who performed the action.
- AI Tool Type: Which specific AI tool was used (e.g., assistant, generator).
- Tokens Used: The total number of tokens consumed during the session. This value depends on the AI tools involved, as well as the volume of input and output exchanged with the language model.
This information helps with transparency, accountability, and resource management.
In addition to individual entries, the Audit Logs include a high‑level overview of your overall AI usage over a rolling 30-day period
- Monthly Limit: The maximum number of tokens available within a 30-day period.
- Total Tokens Used: The sum of tokens consumed in the current rolling 30-day period.
- Remaining Percentage: How much of the rolling 30-day token quota is left, shown as a percentage.
This summary makes it easy to keep track of usage and plan ahead if you’re approaching your monthly limit.
16. Docs
The Docs log reflects changes made to all Docs in the account. It captures and presents the following information: Event type, Author, Details, Timestamp (Date). This includes creating and updating Docs.
