Project Progress Visibility: See Your Success in Real Time
One of the most exciting additions in this release is the enhanced visibility into project progress. If you’ve ever felt uncertain about how far your initiatives have come-especially when work is ongoing but not yet completed-this feature is for you. Now, you can assign a completion percentage to each column in your workflow, giving you a clear, visual representation of progress even before tasks are marked as done. This means you’ll always know exactly where your projects stand, no matter how complex or lengthy they are.
What’s more, the calculation logic is flexible and smart. You can configure how progress is measured-whether by card size, cumulative size, or a combination-ensuring the metrics reflect your unique workflow. The settings are easily accessible from both the workflow editor and board policies sidebar, making it simple to adjust as your projects evolve. This feature is a game-changer for large teams and enterprises who need granular visibility into every stage of their initiatives. If you want to learn more about how the math works, check the dedicated article.
Smarter AI Prompts for Effortless Editing
With the new release, you are able to take advantage of predefined AI prompts within the text editor AI Assistant, making your editing experience more seamless than ever. Now, when you use the Editor AI Assistant, you’ll find a curated list of prompts tailored to the specific context you’re working in—whether you’re updating card descriptions, adding comments, or managing subtasks. This means you can quickly select the most relevant prompt and let the AI do the heavy lifting, saving you valuable time and ensuring consistency across your work.
The system intelligently displays only the prompts that are applicable to your current editing scenario. For example, if you’re editing a card description, you’ll see prompts related to card details; if you’re working on comments or subtasks, you’ll get prompts specific to those areas. If no prompts are defined for a particular context, the dropdown for prompt selection will simply not appear, keeping your interface clean and focused. This smart filtering ensures you always have the right tools at your fingertips, without unnecessary clutter.
Usability Enhancements for Whiteboards and the AI Canvas
Whiteboards and the AI Canvas just got a major usability boost! If you work with large numbers of objects, you’ll love the new navigation and manipulation features. Now, when you select multiple objects, dragging the border of the edge elements lets you adjust the distance between all objects on both the X and Y axes. This makes it effortless to organize imported items, such as initiatives and their children, without endless manual adjustments.
Additionally, you can switch objects between vertical and horizontal positioning with a single click. This flexibility allows you to reorder items in the way that best suits your workflow, saving you time and clicks. These enhancements are designed to make your experience more intuitive and efficient, so you can focus on what matters most-your ideas and collaboration.
Log Time with Precision: Parent Card Type Restrictions
Managing time logs just got smarter! With the new log time setting, you can now restrict time logging based on the parent card’s type. This means you have greater control over how and where time is tracked, ensuring that your reporting is both accurate and relevant. The setting is conveniently located in Worklog Configurations → Settings, allowing you to specify which parent card types are eligible for time logging.
If the setting is enabled, users will only be able to log time against parent cards that match the specified types. This helps maintain consistency and prevents errors in your time tracking process. If no parent card is selected, the restriction won’t apply, keeping the workflow flexible for different scenarios. It’s a simple yet powerful way to tailor time management to your business requirements.
Board Planning View: Workflow Filtering
Say goodbye to cluttered planning views! The new ability to filter workflows in the Board Planning View empowers you to focus only on the workflows that matter most to you. Whether you’re managing dozens of workflows or just a few, you can now select which ones to display, making it easier to browse and organize your information. Your selection is saved locally, so your preferred view is always just a click away. This enhancement streamlines your planning process and helps you stay organized, no matter how complex your board becomes.
Other Updates
Outcomes Chart Scale
Gain more control over your outcomes charts with a new dropdown selector for the X-axis period. Choose between days, weeks, or months to tailor the chart to your needs. Projections are now visualized as 30 days, 4 weeks, or 3 months, depending on your selection. This UI enhancement makes it easier to interpret long histories and trends at a glance.
Display the Entire Text of the Last Comment in Advanced Searches
Advanced search now features an icon that, when clicked, opens a dialog displaying the full content of the last comment. This preserves formatting and improves readability, especially for lengthy comments. Stay informed and never miss important details in your discussions!
Improvements for Data Fields Functionality
Filtering and visualization of data fields have been refined. Board IDs are now displayed in data field details, and you can filter boards independently from workspace names. This makes it easier to find and manage boards that match your criteria, streamlining your dashboard experience.
Show Archived Cards in Custom Field Card Picker
Now you can include archived cards in the custom field card picker. A new option lets you decide whether to show archived cards, giving you more flexibility when selecting cards.
Improve Multi Line Custom Field
Multi-line custom fields are now more user-friendly. By default, only 4-5 lines of text are shown, with an “expand/collapse” button to reveal the full content. A fade effect indicates hidden text, and the feature is available in card details for long entries. This keeps your cards compact while still providing access to all the information you need.
Addition of Start/End Dates in Calculated Date Custom Fields
We’ve added four new card properties that can now be used within your calculated custom fields:
Card first start date
Card first end date
Card last start date
Card last end date
These new properties automatically pull data from the card’s locations, helping you gain more precise insights into when work begins and finishes.
Note: If a card is not marked as “Started” or “Done”, it will not have a last start or last end date — even if one was previously recorded.
AI Preview for Each Support Message
Support just got smarter! Every customer request now receives an AI-generated answer before submitting the case to human support personnel, enabling instant responses to your questions. This means a more efficient support experience for everyone.
