1. The Timeline Workflow is now available for all users
The Timeline Workflow provides a comprehensive view of the past, present and future Initiatives in a Timeline view. Each Initiative has a planned start and end date against the calendar, which enables users to easily schedule their future work.
Users can set up the calendar data into a different format: Days, Weeks, Months, Quarters, Years to match the rhythm of their business operation.
The timeline workflow does not only mirror the planned project initiatives but also adjust the actual dates of their implementation to the calendar.
This is an automated process that is triggered when the team members start working on the cards linked to the Timeline Initiatives before the planned date.

2. Shareable custom reports, widgets and board filters
Kanbanize provides a couple of approaches that help users to filter, summarize and display important information from their account for reporting and operation purposes.
With the addition of the filters sharing feature, users can specify the registered Kanbanize users to share the custom reports with. In this way, users wouldn't have to additionally create the same reports and widgets and will have the needed metrics updated in real-time.
- Share Advanced Search Reports
When you filter your data and narrow down your report to get the metrics you need, you can save your report for further reference. At the bottom side of the Save filter panel, you will find the "Share with Users" option. Select the users, you want to share it with from the dropdown.
The shared filter will become available in the Load panel under Advanced search, where all saved filters get stored.
- Share Board Filters
Using the Board filter you can quite easily filter out your board to display only cards which are relevant to your search and match the selected criteria.
You can save your configuration for future reference and share it with your team members.
When the filter is shared with the selected users, they only have to load it in order to get the board results. All shared board filters become available in the Load panel at the bottom of the sideboard panel.
- Widgets:
The option of adding custom widgets to the dashboard of your account allows you to get to important information from your account, immediately upon entry.
With this product update, when you save and pin the custom widget, you can select the users you want to share it with.
All shared widgets become available under the "Widgets shared with me" section of the Widgets panel (located in the retractable menu to the right bottom side of your dashboard).
To add it to your Dashboard, you have to click on it.
3. Links tab previews
Based on our customers' valuable feedback, we have made a decision to bring back the varieties of views in the Links tab of the card. Users will be able to see all cards that are linked to the original card in the following perspectives:
- Table view
- Bar Chart View
- Pie Chart View
- Board View
Note: the "Board view" option provides extra functionality. Right-click on any of the cards in the Kanban Board preview to open the Links tab that supports all linking capabilities.
4. Other Product Enhancements:
- Improved Links Overview panel inside the card
We extended the card linking functionality, providing one more option for this action through the Links Overview panel in the card.
Users will be able to create new cards and set the type of relation between the cards directly from the Links Overview panel.
- Filter linked cards (by ID or Title)
Using the side Board filter, you can instantly filter out your board by different criteria.
With the new product update, users can filter out all cards that are linked to a certain card by entering its ID or Title.
- Preview PDF card attachments without downloading
Now, you don't have to download PDF documents to view them. Just click on a PDF attachment to open a full document preview in a new browser tab.
The option for download remains available through the corresponding buttons.
- New criterion for the Deadline filter property - "tomorrow"
With Release 6.14, there is an additional option in the Deadline-related criteria: tomorrow.
It helps users generate reports or instantly filter out their boards to display only cards which deadline is tomorrow.
- Improved Metrics tab layout
We introduce a new and improved design of the cards Matrics tab layout for a better visual appearance.
