1. Mark Boards as Favorite
With this Product Release, the Kanbanize users will be able to mark as favorite the boards that they use most frequently. To mark board as favorite, you have to first open the Dashboard of your account.
Hover over the Board name tab to see the Mark as Favourite star and click on it.
Once you mark your favorite boards, you can use the new filter option at the left bottom of the screen.
It will instantly filter out the Dashboard and you will get displayed only the Workspaces and Boards you are interested in.
The green label at the bottom of the page indicates that the filter is active. You can remove it anytime from the respective exit icon.
You can also get a quick view of your favorite boards from the Board selector. Just click the star to apply the filter. This will help you to easily switch between boards where you work most of the time.

A new filter indicator appears when users apply a filter on their Dashboards to run a quick search or display favorite Workspaces and boards. The filter contains information about the number of boards that are currently filtered out.
Remove the filter, so you can view all of your data. - Locate linked card
The colorful rectangles represent all cards linked to the Initiative across the account.
NEW: To easily locate linked cards from different boards, press the CTRL key when clicking the rectangle. A new tab opens up and the system automatically locates the position of the linked card on the respective board.
- Reorder and edit subtasks easily
Very often when creating and working with subtasks, users have to change their sequence order or edit the name description. With Release 6.15, you will be able to control the order of the subtasks and edit them easily when:
- create and/or make changes in an existing template
- create a new card
- create a new card as an action of a business rule
Just drag & drop the subtasks in any order you feel is best and click to edit the name.
- "Shared Filter" notification
The filters sharing option in Kanbanize allow users to share summarized information with other interested parties in the account.
With Release 6.15, every time you share a filter with a user, they receive an email notification. - @ Mention improvements
Every user that you mention in the card receives an email notification.
When you type in the “@“ symbol, the system opens up a drop-down list with the following options:
(1) Assignee: select this option to mention and notify the Card Assignee.
Note: If you mention an assignee in а subtask the system will notify the Card Assignee, irrespective of the subtask owner.
(2) Reporter: select this option to mention and notify the Card Creator.
(3) Board Members: select this option to mention at once all users assigned to the board.
Below Board Members, the system provides a list with the names of all users assigned to the board.
If you want to select a specific user, select their name and type your message.
- New criterion for the Assignee filter property - "self"
There is an additional option in the Assignee-related criteria: self.
It helps users generate reports or instantly filter out their boards to display only cards which are assigned to themselves. If you create the report for personal use only, this choice generates the same results as if you select your User Name under the Assignee pill.
The "self" option makes a difference when you share the reports with other team members.
When loading the shared filter, each user will see only the cards assigned to them.
This functionality works both with the Advanced search panel and the Board filter.
