1. How Does "My Queue and Worklog" Work?
The My Queue and Worklog feature assists your Businessmap experience in two ways:
- You can quickly see all cards and subtasks that are assigned to you across all boards. Cards are organized per board, so you can easily expand or collapse the boards you want to focus on.
- You can track your logged time. You can easily check how much time was logged for each task or how much time was accumulated for: today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, and last month.
To open the "My Queue and Worklog" panel, go to the sidebar on the right side of your board and select the corresponding icon.
The default panel view displays all cards assigned to you across all boards in the account, with the total number of assigned cards shown at the top, in brackets.
Notes:
- When a card deadline has passed, the timestamp is highlighted in red. This helps you focus on ongoing overdue tasks that require immediate action.
- When a card deadline is today, the timestamp is highlighted in orange. This serves as a reminder to complete the task on time.
- If a card is blocked, you will see a blocker icon colored in red.
- Click on a title to open the corresponding card.
2. How to Manage the "My Queue" Settings?
To access the My Queue settings, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the panel. You can configure your cards and how to order them from the modal window that opens.
My Queue Settings:
- Checkmark "Show boards" to better visualize the distribution of cards across the boards in your account.
- Checkmark "Show sections" and select the board sections you want to see cards from: Backlog, Requested, In Progress, Done, Ready to Archive.
- You can also use the “Show cards where I am assigned as” section to see cards where you are an owner, co-owner, or contributor. You will see an icon next to each card that will indicate how you have been assigned to it.
- You can also choose how to order your cards — by color, priority, deadline, or blocked status, as well as in ascending or descending order.
For ease of use, you can expand or collapse the different boards. Click on the refresh icon in the upper right corner to get the most updated information about your cards.
3. How Does "My Worklog" Work?
The My Worklog functionality is located at the bottom of the "My Queue and Worklog" panel. It helps you keep track of the time you logged against tasks.
With this feature, you can choose to see how much time has been accumulated:
- Today
- Yesterday
- This Week
- Last Week
- This Month
- Last Month
In the example below, the user has logged 6 hours Today.
Under the total logged time, you will see the cards that the time was logged for. Clicking on either card will open its details.
