API and Data Limits

Certain limits are applied to ensure the product and our APIs are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Otherwise, users and clients will experience spikes of slow performance, especially in multi-tenant data centers. 

Rate limiting is also an essential component of Internet security for preventing DoS attacks. It helps make the API integrations scalable and keeps our clients' accounts safe in case of errors, loops, or faulty custom integrations.

AI limiting: While the AI tools in Businessmap are free of charge, the AI usage is limited. The overall AI limit in Businessmap is determined by the number of licensed user seats on your account. Each seat is allocated 8,000 AI tokens over a rolling 30-day period, so your total token limit is calculated by multiplying the number of seats by 8,000:

• The token limit is directly tied to the API and Data Limits package, but rather to the number of users on the account.
• The limit is calculated based on the number of users multiplied by 8,000 tokens per user, but the total limit is shared across all users. This means one user could use the entire token allocation, not just their individual 8,000 tokens.

Administrators can now monitor AI token usage and remaining balances by accessing the Audit Logs under AI Usage. If you need more tokens you can contact the Businessmap Support team for assistance.

Different clients have different business needs that could be related to multiple sophisticated and custom reports extracting many records of data or setting up complex real-time integrations. As there are multiple Businessmap accounts sharing the same hardware resources, we provide the following options for your business needs to choose as part of your subscription plan: 

* All clients running on their own dedicated cloud instance are automatically entitled with Extra Large plan.

** Custom plan can be applied only to clients with thousands of users and running on their own dedicated cloud instance, as they have no impact on other clients. The limits are flexible and aligned with their own performance, security, and scalability needs. This plan can be requested by an Account owner only.

IMPORTANT: Once a new option is selected, some configuration changes might take up to 24 hours to get applied!
